As Ben Affleck's new film "Live by Night" has started filming, some photos from the set of the movie have arrived online. The photos show the 43-year-old actor wearing 1920s style outfits while portraying his role.

Affleck was spotted in Brunswick, Georgia sporting a white shirt and a pair of khaki suspender pants which he teamed with a striped tie. What made his appearance become more vintage were the mahogany brogues and the fedora hat. He was also seen wearing a grey blazer while filming some other scenes.

On the same day, the Oscar-winning actor shared a first look at the film on Twitter. He posted a photo of a monitor which showed him walking hand-in-hand with a young boy. "First day. First shot. #livebynightmovie," he captioned the photo.

"Live by Night" is set in 1920s Boston in the prohibition era. The film follows Joe, a man who turned his back on his strict and proper upbringing and becomes an outlaw. He embarks on a dizzying journey up the ladder of organized crime that takes him from the flash of Jazz Age Boston to the sensual shimmer of Tampa's Latin Quarter to the sizzling streets of Cuba.

The film is based on Dennis Lehane's acclaimed crime novel of the same name. Zoe Saldana, Sienna Miller, Elle Fanning and Chris Cooper also star. Directed by Affleck, the movie eyes a 2017 release.
