Fans watching "The X Factor" U.K. on Sunday night, October 18 received quite the surprise when a preview of Adele's new song appeared on the screen during a commercial break. In the 30-second preview was heard delivering a soulful delivery over simple piano chords.
The only image seen on the black screen were the lyrics of the beautifully somber tune. Many viewers recorded the preview and uploaded it on social media. "GENIUS advert! We're ready to hear more," wrote a fan on Twitter.

"Hello, it's me," Adele sang in the preview. "I was wondering / if after all these years / you'd like to meet me / To go over everything / They say that time's supposed to heal ya / But I ain't done much healing."
It has been rumored that Adele would release a new album, a follow-up to her massively successful sophomore album "21", in November. HITS Daily Double reported the British diva was set to release her highly-anticipated full-length on November 20. The album would reportedly be preceded by its lead single which is due out in the first or second week of November.
Sony Music Entertainment hasn't confirmed the release date. Adele's publicist also hasn't commented on the report yet.
