Stephen Rannazzisi was photographed for the first time on Thursday, September 17 since his 9/11 scandal. In a photo obtained by TMZ, the star of "The League" looked somber while stepping out in L.A. wearing a red tee, black shorts, blue socks and red sneakers.

On the same day, Buffalo Wild Wings announced that the company was ending its relationship with the comedian. "Upon careful review, we have decided to discontinue airing our current television commercials featuring Steve Rannazzisi," the sports-bar chain said in a statement.

Buffalo Wild Wings is the first company to pull out of any deal with Stephen after he admitted to lie about escaping 9/11. FX plans to continue to air the seventh and the final season of "The League" as planned. Comedy Central, meanwhile, is still evaluating whether Stephen's stand-up special will air as scheduled.

Stephen previously apologized for his 9/11 lie in a statement, "I was not at the Trade Center on that day. I don't know why I said this. This was inexcusable. I am truly, truly sorry. For many years, more than anything. I have wished that, with silence, I could somehow erase a story told by an immature young man. It only made me more ashamed."

"How could I tell my children to be honest when I hadn't come clean about this?" he added, "It was profoundly disrespectful to those who perished and those who lost loved ones. The stupidity and guilt I have felt for many years has not abated. It was an early taste of having a public persona, and I made a terrible mistake. All I can ask is for forgiveness."
