The hardened mentor of Matt Murdock is returning to Hell's Kitchen after abandoning his young protege in the first season.

Matt Murdock is reuniting with his mentor in the upcoming sophomore season of "Daredevil". Scott Glenn who played the hero's blind mentor, Stick, in an episode of the first season is confirmed to reprise his role for the next entry.
Stick is set to return to Hell's Kitchen "with a new mission that Matt wants no part of" after the hardened mentor's departure left a bad taste in his protege's mouth. He is expected to appear in several episodes in the next second season.
"The old man is back. Stick is returning to Hell's Kitchen for season 2. #Daredevil," the show announced on Twitter along with a picture of the bracelet that young Matt once made from an ice-cream wrapper for Stick. A picture of the two is shown in the background.

Charlie Cox returns as the Man Without Fear, Rosario Dawson is back as the nurse, Claire Temple, Jon Bernthal joins the show as The Punisher, Elodie Yung is added as Elektra, and Stephen Rider is cast as Blake Tower.
