The second trailer for boxing movie "Creed" has surfaced online. The new trailer offers some never-before-seen footage that shows how people compare Michael B. Jordan's Adonis Creed to his father Apollo Creed, a heavyweight champion who died in the ring before Adonis was born.
Adonis is a young boxer who is trained by his father's enemy-turned-friend Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone). Rocky believes that Adonis can be as great as his father, but Adonis is hesitant because some people always underestimate him and even call him "a false Creed."
"Every move that I make, every punch that I throw, everything's gonna be compared to him," Adonis says. The trailer also features Tessa Thompson as Johnson's love interest who always supports him.
According to the official synopsis, "once in the City of Brotherly Love, Adonis tracks Rocky down and asks him to be his trainer. Despite his insistence that he is out of the fight game for good, Rocky sees in Adonis the strength and determination he had known in Apollo-the fierce rival who became his closest friend. Agreeing to take him on, Rocky trains the young fighter, even as the former champ is battling an opponent more deadly than any he faced in the ring."
"Creed" is directed by Ryan Coogler and is due to arrive in U.S. theaters on November 25.
