Following the premiere of outer space movie "The Martian" at the Toronto International Film Festival, a new clip from the film has arrived. The one-minute clip features astrodynamicist Rich Purnell (Donald Glover) explaining his plan to retrieve an astronaut who is stranded in Mars.

Purnell explains his plan, which he believes can save Mark Watney (Matt Damon) and bring him home, to the director of NASA Teddy Sanders (Jeff Daniels) and PR director Annie (Kristen Wiig). Purnell uses some props such as stapler, pen and even Sanders and Annie to represent spaceship and planets.

The plan is to use the Hermes, the ship carrying Watney's fellow astronauts from the Ares 3 crew back to Earth, as a resupply ship that will pick up whatever provision needed and head back to Mars to find Watney.

Damon leads the cast which also include Jessica Chastain, Kate Mara, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Pena, Sebastian Stan and Mackenzie Davis. Ridley Scott directs the movie while also producing alongside Simon Kinberg and Aditya Sood. Centering on NASA and a team of international scientists working tirelessly to bring "the Martian" home, the movie is due to arrive in the U.S. on October 2.
