Jesse Eisenberg recently appeared on "Today" to promote his new book "Bream Gives Me Hiccups". During the interview, the 31-year-old actor was asked about playing Lex Luthor in highly anticipated "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".

"Yes, it is like the most incredible character," Jesse said. "It was written by this guy, Chris Terrio. This is like his first movie after 'Argo'. He's just this brilliant writer of characters." He insisted, "So this movie is not this kind of cartoonish superhero movie. It is very serious and well acted, well written, well directed movie. It's really phenomenal!"

In previous news, another "Dawn of Justice" star Jason Momoa commented on the constant "fish jokes" surrounding his character Aquaman. Jason said there would be no jokes after people got to watch the DC superhero movie.

"You know, it's cute and funny, I mean people make fun of him and there's a bunch of jokes about him," the 36-year-old actor said during Fan Expo in Canada, "But I'm like 'Well... just wait. Let's just wait a little bit. And then we can make jokes...' "

Jesse and Jason star in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" along with Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Amy Adams. Directed by Zack Snyder, the film is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on March 25, 2016.
