"Daredevil" has added Stephen Rider as a series regular for season 2. The actor, who starred in "Lee Daniels' The Butler", will play comic book character Blake Tower on the Marvel series, according to Deadline.

Tower is a District Attorney for New York City. He reportedly will help Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), the blind lawyer who moonlights as the titular hero, with information to help track down and capture criminals.

Rider joins other new cast members, including Elodie Yung who is cast as Elektra and Jon Bernthal who plays Frank Castle a.k.a. The Punisher. Rosario Dawson and Deborah Ann Woll, meanwhile, are set to reprise their roles as Claire Temple and Karen Page respectively.
