Ozzy Orbourne is set to embark on a farewell tour with his two bandmates beginning January next year.

AceShowbiz - Black Sabbath is closing the final chapter in their career. The heavy metal band announces a farewell tour. "When this tour concludes, it will truly be the end, the end of one of the most legendary bands in rock & roll history," they say.

The tour appropriately dubbed "The End" is scheduled to kick off in North America starting January 2016. After completing the U.S. leg, they will head to Australia and New Zealand for a series of concerts in April. More dates are expected to be announced later.

Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler are set to reunite for this upcoming final road trip. Drummer Bill Ward, however, is not among the lineup. "I wish them well, and I have no further comment," he tells Rolling Stone in the wake of the tour announcement.
