September 1 marked another milestone in the marriage life of Sarah Michelle Gellar to actor husband Freddie Prinze Jr. The celebrity couple celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary that day and the actress celebrated it by posting a throwback wedding pic on her Instagram.

"13 years ... Happy Anniversary!" Gellar wrote in companion to the photo from their 2002 wedding. She also quoted poet Roy Croft: "I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me."

In line with Gellar, Prinze also had cute message for his actress wife. He took to Twitter and wrote, "@SarahMGellar all with minor casualties ... Go us!!!"

Gellar and Prinze first met while they were filming the 1997 teen horror film "I Know What You Did Last Summer". The two began dating in 2000 and tied the knot in Mexico two years later. They are currently parents to two children; daughter Charlotte and son Rocky.
