The incident happened while Irwin and his bandmates were headlining their first-ever stadium show in Pennsylvania's Hershey Park over the weekend.

AceShowbiz - Ashton Irwin apparently got a little bit over-excited when he and the other 5 Seconds of Summer members recently headlined their first-ever stadium show. The drummer admitted that he chipped his tooth while performing on the stage in Pennsylvania's Hershey Park over the weekend.

Irwin revealed the incident and made fun of it as he thanked fans who showed up at the concert. "Chipped a tooth tonight, I went hard out lol... Thank you Hershey park, it was a night I'll remember forever," he wrote.

5SOS previously visited Hershey Park as an opener for One Direction a few years ago. According to the Aussie four-piece, the crowd at their concert last weekend was the biggest so far. Following the show, the other band members also took to Twitter to share their excitement.

"All 24,000 of you ROCKED tonight. Thank you for giving our first 'stadium' show," Calum Hood said. Michael Clifford added, "Epic show tonight. thank you all so damn much for coming and making tonight incredible."

5SOS is currently putting the finishing touches on their second album, "Sounds Good Feels Good". The follow-up to their 2014 self-titled set is due out on October 23.
