First Promos of 'Chicago Fire' Season 4 Tease the 'Chicago P.D.' Crossover
TV

Casey is held at gunpoint after being taken away by some guys, and Steven R. McQueen's Jimmy Borelli is introduced as a new guy at Firehouse 51.

The first sneak peek at "Chicago Fire" season 4 has been provided in form of two promo videos. Both promos address the cliffhanger in the season 3 finale, where Dawson (Monica Raymund) found a dead body in Matt Casey's (Jesse Spencer) apartment and Casey went missing. Dawson enlists the help of Voight (Jason Beghe) from "Chicago P.D." to find Casey, who is taken by some guys, one of which aims a gun at Casey.

One of the videos has more scenes with other characters, including Steven R. McQueen's Jimmy Borelli who is stripped down apparently as a part of an initiation ritual before he joins the squad at Firehouse 51. Also at Firehouse 51, there's a tension brewing between co-workers Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Otis (Yuri Sardarov).

"Chicago Fire" returns with a new season Tuesday, October 13 at 10 P.M. ET on NBC. In addition to McQueen, the show has added Fredric Lehne to the cast to play a recurring role of Deputy District Chief Ray Riddle.

He is a "gruff, hard charging fire chief above Boden (Eamonn Walker) who is one of a new breed of politically savvy climbers in the CFD. He's gunning for the top spot of Fire Commissioner, and he doesn't care if Firehouse 51 ends up as collateral damage in the process."

Brian White is tapped to portray the new Squad lieutenant when Severide is demoted by Riddle, and Rachel Nichols is cast as Severide's new love interest.
