First Look: Team Arrow Gets Upgraded Bunker
TV

The so-called 'Arrow Bunker' is a large space which is 'divided up into smaller spaces.'

AceShowbiz -

It turns out Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) suit is not the only thing upgraded in the new season of "Arrow". The titular character and his team will now be working in a new lair that the writer's room is calling the "Arrow Bunker." A first look at the new lair has made its way out via EW.

"In designing the new lair, we had to think in terms of the much larger group that Oliver has now surrounded himself with and how Team Arrow is a much bigger enterprise," says executive producer Marc Guggenheim.

He goes on detailing, "One of the fun things about this lair is that as opposed to one big space, where everyone would congregate, it's now a much larger space divided up into smaller spaces. There is an area for Felicity [Emily Bett Rickards] to work, there is an area for Oliver to work out, and there is a garage. There are many different places we'll continue to discover over the course of the season that give you a sense that this thing is a bit bigger than we got used to in the first three years."

"Arrow" returns with its fourth season Wednesday, October 7 at 8 P.M. on The CW. The show recently cast Elysia Rotaru as Oliver's love interest from the past, Parker Young as Thea's (Willa Holland) potential love interest, and Rutina Wesley as Liza Warner.

The new additions also include Alexander Calvert who will play Lonnie Machin/Anarky, Echo Kellum who will portray Mister Terrific, Jimmy Akingbola who is cast as Baron Reiter, JR Bourne who lands the role of villainous Double Down a.k.a. Jeremy Tell, and Ryan Robbins who will star as Conklin, a sadistic and ruthless member of Shadowspire.
