AceShowbiz - Zendaya Coleman has teased her sophomore album with a preview of a new track off it. The Disney princess took to Instagram earlier this week to share a snippet of the mid-tempo R&B jam, which was produced by none other than Timbaland.
"Z x Timb This second album...it's lit," the 18-year-old entertainer wrote, captioning the 10-second clip that features her singing, "Put you on that high-definition love/ Know I got that high-definition touch." There's still no word on the title of the song or when it will arrive in full.
Zendaya's new album will come as a follow-up to her 2013 self-titled effort which spawned the hit single "Replay". "I would say it's the new wave of R&B," she has said of her upcoming full-length in an interview with MTV. "It's where I think it should be going, or it should be headed; it's very old-school vibe, but it's a new-age version."
Of how her next LP would be different from its predecessor, she explained, "My first album I was only 15, 16, so I was talking about stuff, but I didn't really experience it. Even though it's only been a couple of years, you experience a lot - especially being a young adult, being 18, I have a little more behind what I'm saying."
In addition to Timbaland, Zendaya has worked with legendary musicians like Diane Warren and Babyface for her second studio album. "So exciting to work with young artists like @Zendaya who want to make REAL music!!" Warren recently gushed about the former "Shake It Up" star.
