Demi Lovato explains she sang 'Made in the USA' because she didn't get to perform it on the fourth July before.

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato didn't take a dig at Ariana Grande despite buzzing rumors to the contrary. The former Disney star was reported dissing the ex-Nickelodeon actress due to her song choice at MLB All-Star Game Concert in Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday, July 11.
"I know it's a little late, but I didn't get to sing this on the Fourth of July ... How many of you are proud to be an American?" Lovato said at the concert before performing "Made in the USA". Apparently her performance was speculated as a dig at Grande after the latter was caught on camera saying, "I hate America." Grande was caught on a surveillance camera at a California donut shop making that comment.
In response to the rumors, Lovato took to Twitter to clarify, "Didn't get to sing Made in the USA on the 4th because I was singing #COOLFORTHESUMMER. No shade - stop the bullsh*t." She added, "ALSO - I ALWAYS ask that when I sing that song. Can't yall let a girl shine for one night? Smh."
