Bughuul Haunts People in 'Sinister 2' Red Band Trailer

A mother and her twin sons find themselves in a rural house marked for death as the evil spirit of Bughuul continues to spread with frightening intensity.

AceShowbiz - The follow-up to horror movie "Sinister" gets a red-band trailer. Starring James Ransone, "Sinister 2" highlights the aftermath of the shocking events in the first movie which is full of guts and ritualistic executions.

The trailer opens with a mother (Shannyn Sossamon) reminding her sons not to watch horror movie before going to bed. "I don't like it when you boys watch stuff like that before bed, okay?" she says.

It continues with the scene where two men are discussing about Bughuul, a malevent demon from the first film. "There are references to Bughuul, across all cultures. Some believe that it fed off the corruption of innocence," one of the men says. The man goes on explaining that Bughuul haunts human and there were always three things in common in the process. "There's a murdered family, a house and some forms of offering," he says.

They find a house in rural area where the evil spirit of Bughuul spreads. When they want to burn it down, it turns out that there is a family who lives in the house and is tortured by the demonic evil.

Ransone leads the cast which also includes Dartanian Sloan, Robert Daniel Sloan, Nicholas King and Lucas Jade Zumann. Directed by Ciaran Foy, "Sinister 2" is slated for a U.S. release on August 21.
