Nick Offerman, Hannibal Buress, Larry King and Michael Sheen also take part in the auditions to be Hugh Jackman's replacement in the role.

AceShowbiz - Hugh Jackman recently announced he would step down from the role of Wolverine after the third solo movie. Apparently, the studio behind the movie has held auditions to find his replacement, according to Conan O'Brien.

The funnyman claimed to obtain the audition tape and shared it with his "CONAN" audience on Wednesday night, July 8. In the "leaked" video, the likes of Thomas Middleditch, Nick Offerman and Hannibal Buress took turn reciting Wolverine's line from the comic books, "I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do best isn't very nice."

Patton Oswalt and Betty White also joined the auditions, showing off their claws. Giving his take on the character, Larry King was still attached to his role as a TV host. Michael Sheen pitched a British Wolverine, while Kristen Schall mistakenly thought it was an audition for "Ghostbusters".

Confirming the next "Wolverine" movie would be his last one as the clawed mutant, Jackman said on "Live! with Kelly and Michael", "I'm doing my last one. I'm more excited about this movie than ever before, and I just know in my gut it's the right thing. Hopefully in five years, I'm not coming back here going, 'Why did I do that?' "
