'I'm sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let's focus on getting you feeling better,' so the 'Bad Blood' hitmaker writes to her fan as she makes a donation of $50,000.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has donated a sum of $50,000 to 11-year-old fan Naomi Oakes who is currently battling acute myeloid leukemia. The "Bad Blood" hitmaker made the generous donation after she learned of a touching story about Naomi depicted in a YouTube video posted by her family on Sunday, July 5.

The video reveals that Naomi who is diagnosed with leukemia has to be hospitalized for six to nine months. Hence, she will have to miss Taylor's concert in Phoenix, Arizona, on August 18. The concert ticket itself is a Christmas present for her from her family. The video urges people to help send a message to Taylor and ask her to share a #TeamNaomi hashtag on Instagram.

Two days after the video was uploaded to YouTube, the 25-year-old singer gave the $50,000 donation to Naomi's Go Fund Me page. The amount significantly exceeded the initial goal set by Naomi's family. Taylor wrote a sweet message asking her adorable fan to focus on her treatment as there will always be more concerts. It read, "To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I'm sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let's focus on getting you feeling better. I'm sending the biggest hugs to you and your family."

Noami who was sitting in the hospital bed got overwhelmed by her idol's sweet note. "I can barely breathe," Naomi said. "I seriously think I'm going to pass out right now."
