AceShowbiz - Caitlyn Jenner enjoyed a dinner with some prominent transgender women in New York City on Sunday, June 28. The former Olympic athlete shared with fans a snap on Instagram showing her girlfriends whom she dubbed "powerful group of trans women."
The picture showed Caitlyn striking a pose together with her friends. Caitlyn looked elegant in a black one-piece dress. Her wavy brown hair which was let loose down on her shoulders added her beauty. She completed her look with pearl earrings and a white clutch bag. A caption for the picture read, "Such a fun dinner in NYC w/ this powerful group of trans women." Caitlyn also gushed over her friends as she said, "They are all so beautiful."
Prominent transgender women, including model Geena Rocero and Candis Cayne, were also in attendance. Excited about having dinner with Caitlyn and trans fellows, Geena posted a picture of her alongside Caitlyn and Candis. She captioned it, "Amazing dinner with fabulous Caitlyn Jenner, Candis Cayne and many power Trans Ladies!" In honor of the LGBT community and Pride month, she put the #TransPinay, #genderproud, #girlslikeus and #transisbeautiful hashtags at the end of the caption.
Earlier that day, Caitlyn attended an N.Y.C. Pride event at the Dream Downtown Hotel penthouse. She was met with warm welcome from fellow guests when she entered the venue. However, she looked a bit shy due to the attention given to her.
The 65-year-old reality TV star is currently filming her upcoming docuseries "I Am Cait" which will start airing on July 26 on E!.
