AceShowbiz - Many fans were disappointed when Rogue's scenes in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" were omitted from the film. The good news is, she will be reinstated in the extended version of the film called "The Rogue Cut". Now, fans are treated to the first official image of "The Rogue Cut" which highlights Rogue (Anna Paquin).
Making its way out via The Hollywood Reporter, the image shows Rogue seemingly teaming up with her former enemy Magneto (Ian McKellen). The scene takes place during post-apocalyptic segments of the film. Meanwhile, there are some leaked pictures obtained by Brazilian "X-Men" fansite universoxmen.com.br. One of the photos offers a close-up look at Paquin as Rogue, seemingly in a featurette.
It also shows some scenes such as when Magneto drags Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page) away. Another photo shows Rogue teaming up with Magneto and Pryde to help Wolverine (Hugh Jackman).
The "X-Men: Days of Future Past" Rogue Cut runs about 17 minutes longer than the theatrical cut. Director Bryan Singer revealed via his Twitter account, "For the record the Rogue Cut of #Xmen #DOFP is more than 17 minutes longer than the original cut. And has a few little changes I made. :)"
"The Rogue Cut" will be released on Blu-ray, DVD and Digitial HD on July 14. It will debut in four screens during San Diego Comic-Con on July 11 at 8 P.M. The screenings are taking place at the Reading Cinema - Gaslamp District (701 5th Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101).
