'Twenty per cent was gender and 80 per cent was the way I was treated,' the former Olympian said of the reason behind his divorce from Kris in a revealing interview with Vanity Fair.

AceShowbiz - Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, revealed the real factor behind the breakdown of her marriage with Kris Jenner in a tell-all interview with Vanity Fair magazine. She said during the interview that she gave up on the marriage mostly due to the way the reality star treated her.
"Twenty per cent was gender and 80 per cent was the way I was treated," the former Olympian told the magazine. "A lot of times she wasn't very nice. People would see how I got mistreated. She controlled the money... all that kind of stuff."
Caitlyn said that their relationship changed greatly after Kris gained full control on career path of their family. "The first 15 years I felt she needed me more because I was the breadwinner," Caitlyn continued. "Then really around the show, when that hit and she was running this whole show and getting credit for it and she had her own money, she didn't need me as much from that standpoint."
She added, "The relationship was different. I think in a lot of ways she became less tolerant of me. Then I'd get upset and the whole relationship kind of fizzled."
However, Kris, who also spoke to the publication as a part of Caitlyn's cover shoot, denied the claim, saying that the divorce was mostly prompted by Bruce's "social anxiety."
"He was married to me and he wasn't who he wanted to be so he was miserable," Kris claimed. "All I was doing was working very hard for my family so that we could all have a wonderful future, and he was pissed off."
"At the end of my relationship with Bruce he definitely had a lot of social anxiety. That was one of the reasons we were in a struggle at the end," she added. "We fought a lot because we would go out together and before we got to the end of the block we were in a fight because he started saying, 'When can we go home?' "
The pair separated in June 2013 and have two children together, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
