The 'Fantastic Four' reboot director Trank took to Twitter to deny rumor that he's replaced by Vaughn for the superhero movie reshoots.

AceShowbiz - Director Josh Trank debunked a rumor about his upcoming movie "The Fantastic Four" which said that Matthew Vaughn had assumed the role of director for the movie. Trank also took to Twitter to slam the source which spread the rumor.

On May 23, Superhero News reported that 20th Century Fox had brought in "Kingsman: The Secret Service" director Vaughn to complete the April reshoots for "The Fantastic Four". The rumor said that the executives at Fox were not satisfied with the film, so they asked Vaughn to complete the reshoots of the film.

But the rumor has been denied by Trank. He wrote on Twitter about the rumor, "Next time you read an article, whether it's Hollywood Reporter or SuperheroNews, if they aren't naming sources: it's probably bulls**t." He said that the rumor was not true since he never met Vaughn in person.

Replying to a comment from a Twitter user, he emphasized that no one would be his co-director, "@Josh_Wilding Hey Josh, not true. While MV has been very supportive, he's never been to our set. There's only been 1 director of FF2015. Me."

The movie about four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe will arrive in the United States on August 7. Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, and Jamie Bell star as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Johnny Storm (Human Torch), Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), and Ben Grimm (The Thing) respectively, while Toby Kebbell is cast as Dr. Doom.
