Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson can add a new title to his resume, a Guinness world record holder. The actor broke a selfie record on the red carpet of the premiere event of his new movie "San Andreas". He took pictures with excited movie fans who lined up to be a part of the record attempt.

The Rock captured over a hundred pictures in three minutes. The photos had to be focused with recognizable faces and no blurring. They also had to show the full face and neck of participants. Some of the pics were disqualified but he managed to score a total of 105 eligible selfies, enough to break the previous record.

"I gotta say thank you so much, I could not have done it without everyone who was helping me. I appreciate it but I came to London to break a record, and London we broke a record," the star said. He also showed off his certificate on Instagram.

The Rock looked dapper in a tailored suit. He was joined by his co-stars like Kylie Minogue, Carla Gugino, and Alexandra Daddario at the special screening taking place at Odeon Leicester Square on Thursday, May 21 in London, England.

Directed by Brad Peyton, the movie will arrive in North American theaters starting May 29. It follows a search and rescue helicopter pilot as he makes a dangerous journey across the state in order to save his estranged daughter in the aftermath of a magnitude 9 earthquake in California.
