Miles Teller has become a real-life hero. The 28-year-old actor who plays superhero Reed Richards in "The Fantastic Four" reboot is pictured saving a pregnant woman and her young daughter when they were caught in a rip tide. His girlfriend Keleigh Sperry also helped lead them to safety.
The incident happened when the "Divergent" star was relaxing on the beach in Miami with Sperry. He sprung into action and pulled the distressed mother and daughter from the rough ocean. Her girlfriend looked relief, placing her hand over her heart once they safely returned to the shore.
Miles Teller will soon go on a press tour to promote "The Fantastic Four" which will hit theaters Stateside on August 7. Directed by Josh Trank, the remake also stars Michael B. Jordan as Human Torch, Kate Mara as Invisible Woman, Jamie Bell as The Thing, and Toby Kebbell as Dr. Doom.
