During the concert, Hov will play a number of songs that he's never played at his concerts or he hasn't performed in a decade. Fans can win tickets to the show by creating a Tidal playlist on Twitter using the hashtag #TIDALXJAYZ. Fans who can't get tickets shouldn't be too disappointed as the event will also be streamed on Tidal.
The concert announcement came just days after Jay-Z defended the music streaming service which he acquired and relaunched last month. "Tidal is doing just fine. We have over 770,000 subs. We have been in business for less than one month," he wrote on Twitter over the weekend. "We are here for the long haul. Please give us a chance to grow & get better."
