In 'Today' interview, the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star speaks for the first time about her stepfather's gender transition, admitting it takes time for the family members to adjust.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian spoke about Bruce Jenner's gender transition in "Today" interview with Matt Lauer on Monday, April 27. She said that although it was hard for the whole family to get used to the condition, they all supported her stepfather's gender transition.

Kim admitted that she's happy with Bruce's decision to be himself and to find "inner peace and just pure happiness." "I don't know what life would be like if you always felt like you weren't yourself and I know it's not something that you or I could ever fully understand, but I don't even think we have to," she told Matt. "As long as he is happy, and he wants to live his life however he wants to live it, that just makes me happy and I support him 100 percent."

Kim revealed that it took times for the family members to adjust to the condition. She was also disappointed with the media coverage as they spread untrue rumor about her family. "There is still and adjustment and there is family therapy and were really close. I see reports that say 'this one doesn't support him' and 'this ones over here' and 'my mom feels this way' and it's all really so made up. We all really support him. Is it a hard adjustment? Yes. Is there things we have learned more recently. It's a daily process," she said.

Kim also took to Twitter to show her support for her stepfather. She uploaded a picture with Bruce and captioned it, "Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself. Bruce is love. I love you Bruce. #ProudDaughter."

Kim really supported his stepfather and respected his decision so much as Bruce called her the "most accepting" family member of his transition in the "20/20" interview with Diane Sawyer. Bruce said that it was her husband Kanye West who helped Kim accept his condition. Bruce said that Kanye told Kim, "I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful little daughter in the world, and I have that. But I'm nothing if I can't be me. If I can't be true to myself they don't mean anything." Kim and Kanye even want North to be involved in Bruce's new lifestyle.

"She [Kim] really loves Bruce and as a sign of love and admiration for Bruce, she and Kanye are discussing making North's middle name Bruce's new female name," a source close to Kim told Hollywoodlife.com.
