"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has been welcomed by fans with open arms after a second trailer was released on Thursday, April 16. Most fans have smiled, laughed or even shed tear after watching, but they probably didn't cry as much as Matthew McConaughey did.
A YouTube user oskararnarson has made a clever parody by putting together footage of Matthew as Cooper in "Interstellar" with the recently released "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer. The video shows Matthew's increasingly emotional reaction lining up quite nicely with the clips.
Matthew's "Interstellar" clip was taken from a scene where Cooper, out in the far reaches of space, watching decades-old transmission from his children who have grown up while he was on the mission.
The second trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has also got a LEGO treatment. YouTube channel Final Feature posted the recreation of the sci-fi movie's trailer which showed the wreckage of a star destroyer, X-Wing battles, the Millennium Falcon, Rey, Finn, Han Solo and Chewbacca.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is set to hit U.S. theaters on December 18.
