Kourtney Kardashian Reveals Inspiration Behind Son Reign's Name

The reality TV star and mother of three tells PEOPLE that she already considered the name since she was about to have first child, son Mason.

AceShowbiz - Working mother Kourtney Kardashian reveals to PEOPLE in an interview for its latest issue the inspiration behind her baby boy Reign's name. "I'm never certain [with names] until they're born," she admitted, adding, "I actually had the name on our list with Mason. Then with Penelope, I had it on the list but spelled R-A-I-N."

Thinking she was having another baby daughter when she was pregnant with Reign, Kourtney circled back to Rain as a possibility and started to really like it. However, "Once I found out I was having a boy, we just changed the spelling again," she confessed to PEOPLE. And so, the baby boy was named Reign Aston Disick, making his initials R-A-D.

Kourtney, 36, gave birth to Reign on December 14 last year, but it was not until a few days later that she publicly revealed the baby's name. Reign is her third child with longtime lover Scott Disick. He joins eldest brother Mason Dash, 5, and elder sister Penelope Scotland, 2.5.
