Another original star of "Heroes" has signed up for the upcoming spin-off "Heroes Reborn". Deadline reports that Jimmy Jean-Louis is set to reprise his role as The Haitian on the NBC limited series, joining Jack Coleman and Masi Oka.

The Haitian has the ability to erase people's memories and to block their powers. He is an associate of Noah Bennet, played by Coleman, and was only referred to as "the Haitian" in the first three seasons of the sci-fi series before it's later revealed that his name is Rene.

Besides Coleman and Oka, who will return as the fan-favorite time-and-space jumper Hiro Nakamura, "Heroes Reborn" will feature Zachary Levi, Ryan Guzman, Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shekoni, Kiki Sukezane, Henry Zebrowski and Gatlin Green in the cast.

The 13-episode event series will debut this fall with an online prequel ahead of the premiere. Plot details are still kept under wraps, but it is said that the series will "follow a new stand-alone story arc."
