Beyonce, Kanye West and Rihanna Tweet Support as Jay-Z Launches Streaming Service Tidal

Other music's big names like Madonna, Usher, Nicki Minaj and Jack White also turn their Twitter profile picture bright blue to support the streaming service Jay-Z bought earlier this month.

AceShowbiz - Numerous musicians have shown support for Jay-Z's music streaming service Tidal. Famous faces including the rapper's wife Beyonce Knowles and pals Kanye West and Rihanna helped promote the service on Twitter using the hashtag #TIDALforALL and turned their Twitter profile picture bright blue.

" 'The Tides They Are-A Changing' #TIDALforALL," Bey tweeted. "Together, we can turn the tide and make music history. Start by turning your profile picture blue. #TIDALforALL," West added. "NAVY, turn the tide���#MakeMusicHistory #TurnitBlue #TIDALforALL," RiRi wrote.

Madonna, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Jack White, Coldplay, Calvin Harris and Deadmau5 are among other names supporting Tidal on Twitter.

Tidal, which was acquired by Jay-Z earlier this month for $56 million from Swedish tech company Aspiro, launches on Monday, March 30. The streaming service offers "best high fidelity sound quality, high definition music videos and expertly curated editorial." Users have to pay $19.99 a month for high-fidelity audio and $9.99 for standard quality audio.

Jay-Z has announced on Twitter that he has a "special announcement" planned for Monday at 05:00 P.M. eastern time.
