Michael Fassbender channels his inner outlaw in the first trailer released for western drama "Slow West". He crosses paths with teen Jay Cavendish (Kodi Smit-McPhee) who journeys across the American frontier in search of the woman he loves.
Together, the two navigate a vast, untamed wilderness while attempting to stay one step ahead of a bloodthirsty posse and colorful bounty hunter. Their search leads to a bloody confrontation where Jay's romanticism is the first of many casualties.
Supported by the likes of Ben Mendelsohn, Rory McCann, and Caren Pistorius, the movie set at the end of the nineteenth century was premiered at Sundance this January. It is scheduled to be screened for Tribeca Film Festival audience next month before heading to theaters later this year.
