A year to go before the official theatrical release of "Deadpool", Ryan Reynolds has claimed the highly anticipated feature will surely please super critical fanboys. In an interview with Shortlist, the actor and father of one opened up, "I'm incredibly happy about it - we've got a director that understands that world, and writers with a slavish devotion to the canon of that character. That's the most important aspect: it's made in a way the most critical of fanboys could embrace. Well, that's the hope."

Reynolds has been cast for the forthcoming superhero action fantasy flick as its title character Wade Wilson/Deadpool. He is joined in the cast ensemble by the likes of Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, and Gina Carano. Earlier this month, Hugh Jackman expressed his interest to play Wolverine in the film.

"Deadpool" is planned to be released on February 12 next year. Shooting reportedly will be kicked off this week. Tim Miller has been attached to direct from a script written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Lauren Shuler Donner has been on board as producer.
