AceShowbiz - Kevin Bacon stars in a new print and online campaign for Incredible Egg, backed by the American Egg Board, which promotes eggs consumption in the United States. In a 2-minute web-film titled "Wake Up to Eggs with Bacon", Kevin sneaks into someone's kitchen and surprises a housewife.
"There is no better start to the day than eggs for breakfast," says the housewife, played by Geneva Carr, who is putting cooked eggs on a plate with bacon, "except maybe eggs with a side of..." "Bacon," Kevin quips while lying on her kitchen counter. "Kevin Bacon, what are you doing in my kitchen?" she asks, to which he replies, "Well, nobody knows eggs better than Bacon."
"You know, I love the smell of eggs in the morning," he says before grabbing the plate of eggs and bacon from the housewife and sniffing it. "And I love the smell of bacon," she says before sniffing the plate too. Her husband then shows up and surprises her.
Kevin says in a statement about his new eggs ad, "With a last name like Bacon, I'm the obvious choice, and I'm excited to be a part of the new Incredible Edible Egg campaign. I like the creativity behind the idea, and I've always been a big fan of eggs. They're a nutritional powerhouse and I never get tired of them because there are so many ways you can eat them."
