'Mom' gets a third season renewal, while 'Mike and Molly' is picked up for a sixth season.

"Mom" and "Mike & Molly" are staying on CBS for another season. Both shows from executive producer Chuck Lorre have reportedly been renewed for 2015-2016 season. The sophomore comedy starring Anna Faris will be back for a third season, while the Emmy-nominated sitcom starring Melissa McCarthy will return for a sixth season.
CBS has not made an official statement on the renewals, but "Mom" writer Sheldon Bull confirmed the good news on Twitter. "MOM picked up for next year! Thanks, fans from all of us at MOM!" so he wrote.
"Mike & Molly" writer Julie Bean also took to Instagram to spread the news about the new season pickup. "This is what getting picked up for another season looks like!! #mikeandmolly Season 6 here we come!" she captioned a pic showing the cast and crew looking excited in the studio.
