Joe Jonas has become the latest celebrity who turns into a restaurateur. The former Jonas Brothers singer has opened a new eatery in Santa Monica, California called Hinterland.

Joe announced the opening of his new restaurant through Twitter and Instagram. On Twitter, the 25-year-old star posted a caption of the eatery alongside map direction to the venue. Meanwhile on Instagram, he shared a glimpse of the menu and captioned it, "Open for business #Hinterland #YUM #cristal."

Hinterland is said to be a German word that refers to land behind a coastline. Its fare, as reported by EaterLA, is "a seasonal Southern Atlantic (think Charleston and Savannah) restaurant using local produce, with a full raw bar."

In the wake of its grand opening last week, Hinterland has had celeb fans, including Joe's former girlfriend Camilla Belle, who gushed on Instagram, "New must try spot in LA!! #Hinterland #foodie #yummy," and singer Paris Carney.
