Swift admits to having difficulties hanging out with male companions since the media would always make her the subject of false dating reports.

AceShowbiz - Having had a successful singing career, Taylor Swift admits love is no longer a priority for her. Besides, she has been dating no one for years and thus predicts that she would probably be still single by the time she is 30 years old.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Swift admitted it was hard for her to hang out with male friends with the media always following her and tending to blowing things out of proportion. "I just got so freaked out that people were going to say I was dating him. I started thinking, 'I can't let this ruin my friendships with dudes,' " so she explained on her recent photo with Hozier. "I didn't let it ruin my friendship with Ed [Sheeran] - they always said we were dating and we never were. But sometimes I get really scared."
"I'm in a different place in my life, where love isn't really a priority. I haven't dated anyone in years so there's less chatter about the serial dater thing. I'm just really excited at an awards show when they don't make some weird joke about my dating life," she revealed further. When asked about how she saw herself in the next five years, the 25-year-old songbird candidly claimed, "I'll probably still be single, let's be honest."
On that matter she explained to The Telegraph, "No one's going to sign up for this and everything that goes with it. Like, 'Hi, nice to meet you, want a date? Do you love camera flashes? I hope you do!' I don't know what's going to happen if I'm ever content in a relationship - no idea how that's going to work. I don't even know if that's possible with the life I have." She then jokingly added, "In five years' time she'll be so afraid of everything, she doesn't leave her house. She's just surrounded by cats. So many cats, they've divided themselves up into armies and she wanders around lint-rolling the couch that no one's going to sit on because she's afraid to have people over."
