AceShowbiz - "The Mindy Project" adds one more famous name into its guest star list, Laura Dern. The 48-year-old actress, who starred as Reese Witherspoon's mom in the recent film "Wild", is set to guest star before the third season wraps up.
According to E! News, Dern will be on bard portraying an OB-GYN. No other details about her character have been shared though.
"The Mindy Project" has had famous stars guest starring in as of late. The romantic comedy series has named the likes of Laverne Cox, Kris Jenner, as well as Stephen Colbert guest starring in its season three.
Laura Dern is a two-time Oscar nominee, one for "Wild" and the other one for "Rambling Rose". She, additionally, has won three Golden Globes. Acting on TV, in fact, isn't something new for her as she has previously guest starred on such series as "Ellen", "The West Wing", and "King of the Hill".
