The 'Heart Attack' songstress tweets to her 27 million followers, 'The media likes to blow things out of proportion.. I'm fine!!'

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato took to Twitter on Wednesday morning, February 25 to update her 27 million followers about her condition after she was rushed to ER on Tuesday for flu-like symptoms. TMZ reported the 22-year-old singer-songwriter was treated for lung infection.

Demi thanked fans for their support and said the report was blown "out of proportion." The "Let It Go" singer tweeted, "Thanks for the get well messages.. The media likes to blow things out of proportion.. I'm fine!! Nothing a little chicken soup can't fix!!" along with a stuck-out tongue emoticon.

Demi was also active on Instagram that day. She posted a photo of her and Zendaya Coleman taken at the recent unite4:humanity event, where she presented the Young Luminary Award to the "Zapped" star. "Forgot to post this last week from the #Unite4Good event! Watched this girl grow into a humble, beautiful and strong young woman!! [Love] you girl," she captioned it.

Earlier on the day, Demi's representative told Us Weekly that Demi was released from hospital. "She returned home soon after her ER visit and is feeling much better today," the representative said.
