The first trailer for the Guillermo del Toro-directed horror offers glimpses at what Wasikowska's Edith sees after moving into the huge mansion with her husband.

AceShowbiz - Tom Hiddleston and Mia Wasikowska move in his big mansion in the first trailer for "Crimson Peak". Arriving online on Friday, February 13, the trailer offers glimpses at what happens in the huge mansion in Victorian-era England after the newly-married couple stays in the creepy-looking house.

The trailer opens with Hiddleston's Thomas Sharpe marrying a young author named Edith Cushing. Sharpe then takes her to his childhood house and meet his eccentric sister, played by Jessica Chastain. Edith clearly doesn't feel comfortable staying in the house as she finds out that the house is also occupied by supernatural beings. "Ghosts are real. That's much I know," she says.

Scary experiences of her meeting ghosts are also teased. "Has anyone died in this house? Specific deaths? Violent deaths?" Edith asks. Charlie Hunnam plays a doctor who wants to take Edith away from the scary place.

The movie is directed by Guillermo del Toro. It is set to haunt U.S. theaters on October 16.
