Jennifer Lawrence is about to add at least one more feature into her resume as she is in talks to star in "Passengers (2016)", an upcoming space drama flick by Sony. Everything is still in the very early stages and thus it is not known yet on what role the actress is eyeing.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Chris Pratt is also in early talks to star in the film. As reported by Variety, he is in talks to land the leading male character. Further details are not available as of press time.
"Passengers", as described by Variety, is "set on a spacecraft in the future, with thousands of passengers making an interstellar voyage to a distant new planet. One passenger awakens from cryogenic sleep 90 years before anyone else and decides to wake up a female passenger, sparking the beginning of a love story." Morten Tyldum, director of "The Imitation Game", is on board helming the upcoming flick.
