"Magic Mike XXL" debuts the very first teaser trailer. The Kings of Tampa are back taking a road trip for a final show, and adventure ensues. Shirts are taken off and abs are displayed as the hunky specimens take over the dance floor again.
The sequel finds the remaining guys ready to throw in the towel, but they want to do it their way. On the road to their last show, they reconnect with old acquaintances, make new friends, learn some new moves, and shake off the past in surprising ways.
Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew Bomer, and Joe Manganiello are returning to their respective roles. They are joined by Amber Heard, Jada Pinkett Smith, Michael Strahan, Elizabeth Banks, and Danny Glover among others.
The film is due July 1 Stateside. Compared to the first film "Magic Mike" in 2012, director Gregory Jacobs told PEOPLE the follow-up was "dramatic and emotional but not as dark. It's such a great group of people. We had a blast making it. I hope that comes across on screen."
