Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch, which is up for sale, could be turned into rehab camp for children who are the victims of sex assault. The bidder is local businessman and he offered $40 million for the 2,700-acre property to make it happen. Meanwhile, two other bidders want to turn the ranch into a place for music concert and attraction.

A source who has knowledge on the sale process said, "His goal is for the place to be used to help children in a serene setting recover from the trauma of sex abuse. The plan is to have children come there for treatment, and they will also hire trained therapists who would help the victims through the use of equine-assisted therapy, which works to improve the kids' self-esteem, and it helps them to become more outgoing."

The property was home to an amusement park and some animals such as orangutans, a lion, snakes, horses and elephants. But this place was also where the King of Pop was accused of luring children.

The ranch is still visited by 16-year-old Paris, the daughter of MJ. She frequently travels 100 miles from her family's home in Calabasas. Paris even planted a Zen garden where a Ferris wheel once stood.

Capital Colony seized control over the ranch a year before Jackson's death. According to William Etling, a local real-estate broker, California officials were considering to turn the ranch into a state park, but the price around $75 million is too expensive for them.
