Performing at the 2015 Jazz and Blues Festival, the singer has just started singing 'Fantasy' when she appears to forget the lyrics.

Mariah Carey was caught lip-syncing during a live concert in Jamaica. The singer was performing her single "Fantasy" at the 2015 Jazz and Blues Festival on Friday, January 30 when something went wrong.
According a clip taken by a concertgoer who later shared it with the world via YouTube, Carey had just sang the first few lines of the song when she appeared to forget the next lyrics. A pre-recorded version of her singing could be heard clearly while she covered her lips with her microphone as she tried hard to harmonize.
This is not Carey's first time to have played a disastrous performance. Back in early December, an audio of isolated, unedited vocals from her gig at the annual tree lighting ceremony in NYC leaked online, revealing her struggle to hit the high notes she was famous for.
Despite this, Carey is still expected to play a string of shows in Las Vegas. The diva recently confirmed her residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace that's set to start in May. "It's a new chapter for me and I'm just excited about it," she said.
