Kenya Moore is slapped with a cease and desist letter by NeNe Leakes for making "false, destructive, and defamatory statements." The 44-year-old reality star posted on Instagram on Tuesday, January 27 a screenshot of the letter sent by NeNe's legal team.

In the letter, NeNe's legal team asked Kenya to "cease and desist making any and all false and defamatory statements, which are injurious to [NeNe's] character and reputation." The legal team claimed Kenya "engaged in making false, destructive, and defamatory statements. These statements have been made directly, by implication and inneundo during television broadcasts and through social media and the Bravo blog."

Kenya captioned the screenshot, "I guess this is @neneleakes way of saying happy birthday! #RHOA #HypocrisyAtItsBest #byegirl #SheTriedIt #SoNastySoRude."

Kenya previously called NeNe a "ghetto, classless, beast" on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta". Back in May, NeNe also dissed Kenya, telling Hollywood Life, "I think Kenya's great for the show. If they're looking for the dark side, they're looking for negativity, fighting, provoking, delusionalness, if that's what they're looking for, she's 100 percent excellent for the show."

An insider told New York Daily News of the two reality stars, "Both of them bad mouth each other so I'm not surprised that Nene would take it this far."

NeNe's representative has not made comments on the issue yet.
