Nicolas Cage has booked a new project. According to THR, the actor is teaming up with "Borat" director Larry Charles in a satire movie "Army of One" which is loosely based on a GQ article about a Colorado man named Gary Faulkner who tries to catch Osama bin Laden. Armed with a sword, night-vision goggles and little else, Faulkner sneaks into Pakistan and Afghanistan over a dozen times to carry out his mission.

"Army of One" is set to start production in late March. The movie written by Scott Rothman and Rajiv Joseph ("Draft Day") is targeting a 2016 release date.

Faulkner, a construction worker, made headlines after he was arrested during his eleventh mission in Pakistan carrying a sword, a dagger and a pistol among other things in 2010. Speaking to the magazine, the man who is also known as "Rocky Mountain Rambo" said back then he "absolutely" believed God chose him for the mission.

"Oh yeah, absolutely. I'm always wondering: Why did you pick me instead of somebody else?" he told the magazine. "And why do you think he did?" the interviewer asked again, and he replied, "Because I'm the only one crazy enough to do it."
