"Deadpool" movie starring Ryan Reynolds apparently are considering some names for an unspecified role. According to a Tuesday, January 6 report from TheWrap, T.J. Miller ("Silicon Valley", "Big Hero 6") and Ed Skrein ("Game of Thrones", "The Transporter Legacy") are wanted for a role in the superhero movie.

Reynolds first played the character Deadpool a.k.a. Wade Wilson in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". In early December, the actor confirmed via a Twitter post that he'd reprise the role. Tim Miller will serve behind the lens with the script provided by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The "X-Men" spin-off is set for release in the U.S. on February 12, 2016.

In other casting news, TheWrap also revealed Tuesday that Gugu Mbatha-Raw would join Matthew McConaughey in Civil War movie "Free State of Jones". Based on the true story of one of the rebel leaders Newton Knight, the movie is directed by Gary Ross. Mbatha-Raw will play a slave named Rachel whose relationship with Knight played big part in his life and armed rebellion against the Confederacy during the war.

Mbatha-Raw is currently working on an untitled Ridley Scott project with Will Smith. She next can be seen in the Wachowskis' sci-fi pic "Jupiter Ascending" with Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis which is set to hit U.S. theaters on February 6.
