Paul Rudd Wants to Change the Name Ant-Man in First Teaser

After Michael Douglas' Hank Pym asks Rudd's Scott Lang to become the Ant-Man, Lang says, 'Is it too late to change the name?'

AceShowbiz - The first full teaser from "Ant-Man" finally is released after being teased with ant-sized and human-sized teaser and poster. Hitting the web on Tuesday, January 6 following "Marvel's Agent Carter", the nearly-two-minute video gives glimpses at Scott Lang, played by Paul Rudd, and his mentor as well as the Ant-Man suit developer Hank Pym who is portrayed by Michael Douglas.

Pym can be seen giving the con man Lang a chance to turn over a new leaf and become a superhero in the teaser. "Scott... I need you to be the Ant-Man," Pym says, to which Lang replies, "One question. Is it too late to change the name?"

The video also features a scene where Rudd wears the Ant-Man suits, shrinks and rides a fly. He can also be seen wearing the suit while visiting his sleeping young daughter in her room.

Also starring Evangeline Lilly as Pym's daughter, Corey Stoll as Darren Cross a.k.a. the villain Yellowjacket, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena and T.I. among others, the superhero movie is directed by Peyton Reed. It arrives in U.S. theaters on July 17.
