AceShowbiz - %cTeresa Giudice% is now serving her 15-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut. Teresa left her Montville Township mansion on early Monday, January 5 in a black SUV driven by her lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. and arrived at the federal prison at around 3:00 A.M.
According to PEOPLE, Teresa's last words to James before entering the federal prison were, "I'll be fine. Tell Joe and the girls I'm good." James said Teresa were told by the officials that she "would be able to make her first phone call within 24 hours once they had her account set up. They said they were going to make it possible for her to meet with her immediate family this weekend. So she was very happy with that."
The star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" was supposed to surrender to authorities by 10:00 A.M. but asked her lawyer if she could turn herself before that because she "didn't want to have her children wake up on Monday morning and see a big [media] circus outside of the house."
James claimed officials allowed Teresa to appear at the prison at 3:00 A.M. and "let her use an alternate route in order to avoid the likely media attention outside the prison main entrance."
Before arriving at the prison, Teresa and James went to Elmer's Diner in Danbury at around 2:00 A.M. In two photos obtained by TMZ, the reality star could be seen eating an egg sandwich.
In some pictures obtained by New York Daily News, Teresa's husband %cJoe Giudice% was seen leaving his house to take his four daughters to school on Monday morning.
On Sunday evening, Teresa's daughter Gia posted a tweet related to her mother's ordeal. "Support system is unreal. #soblessed." Earlier on the day, Teresa and her family were photographed together attending church at the Sacred Heart Church in New Jersey.
