Emily Deschanel and her actor husband David Hornsby are expecting their second child together. A representative for the "Bones" actress confirmed the happy news to E! Online on Friday, December 5.

Emily and David, who tied the knot in September 2010 in a small private ceremony in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles, are already parents to Henry Lamar Hornsby, who was born on September 21, 2011.

The 38-year-old actress recently celebrated Henry's third birthday with a vegan party. "[Henry] turns 3. We're going to have a little party for him, trying not to overwhelm him too much," she told PEOPLE at that time. We're going to have some vegan tacos for his party. It will be a lot of fun."

Emily and his husband are vegan and have passed on her food choices to her son. "[Henry]'s 99 percent vegan. My husband's not 100 percent vegan so sometimes he eats some eggs with him, but I try to make sure [they're] coming from my friend's eggs. But most of the time he's 99 percent vegan."

Emily was congratulated by her sister Zooey Deschanel and other celebrities on the "Bones" milestone 200th episode, airing on Thursday, December 11 at 8 P.M. on FOX. In an video obtained by E! Online, "Gotham" star Benjamin McKenzie shares, "That is a lot of episodes. You must be very tired. I'm very happy for you!"
