Reese Witherspoon's nude scene in her true-story drama "Wild" makes her daughter feel uncomfortable. She opens up in a New magazine interview, "Ava's 15 and there are parts in the film that I had to explain to her. I told her, 'I'm naked in the movie...' and she was like, 'Mom, that's so weird!' "

The actress plays former drug addict Cheryl Strayed in the movie. She explains to her teen daughter, "I said, 'I had to be brave Ava, and I couldn't just tell the parts I was comfortable with, because Cheryl was brave to tell her whole story, so I had to tell even the parts that I was scared to do.' "

Witherspoon who has two children with former husband Ryan Phillippe and a kid with current hubby Jim Toth understands why her daughter felt that way, "She's like, 'I know but if this was Grandma Betty...' I said, 'You're right, that would be really, really weird!' But she's very proud of me."

Earlier this month, she told reporters during a Q&A event that it was hard for her to do sex scene in the movie. "I didn't want to do any of it. I really didn't want to do the sex scenes. I really didn't want to do the heroin scenes," she said. "No sex scenes are fun. They are just like... sometimes they're fun, but there's a whole other set of stories. No, it was hard."

"I called Cheryl the day before and I was like, 'I have to do this scene in this alley and I'm having sex with two guys, and I'm like, 'Why did you do this?!'," the actress recalled. And Strayed told her, "I'm sorry I was such a slut in the '90s, but you're just gonna have to do it. Otherwise people are going to say, 'It's just going to be a hiking movie and that's stupid.' "
